What are your thoughts about being prompted to vote on new voting topics at login?
This is something that was really common with RG/TG boards in the 90s, but Mystic has, by default, not really pushed voting at login.
I think I asked this a while back... Al said that he doesn't like to force ppl to do stuff, which makes sense, but maybe it would be cool? Voting results are entertaining to me, especially when it's a somewhat serious voting topic. I think a lot of us Mystic sysops have shoved it off to the side quite a bit.
I'm not sure I like forcing users to do things at login. I suppose one option is
to have a question during login to ask users if they want to vote on any new topics that might have been added. Then they'd be able to skip it
if they don't
feel like voting at login.
