FYI, there is nothing on this end that would be stripping out the color codes. So, I'm not sure what the issue is.. unless the BBS you're posting from isn't setup for ANSI in this area?

If you haven't done so already, check your terminal program's UL settings. You might have some options there.

FYI, changing color of text on a Mystic BBS (ie: signatures, quotes, tagline/origin line) is done with pipe codes, which doesn't have anything to do with ANSI graphics.

If I remember right, the BBS has to be setup to be able to post ANSI graphics on a per-area basis. This may be only allowed for the BBS Advertisements area. So if you want to test, go to AGN_ADS and try posting the exact same way you did it here. If that doesn't work, then it's probably your terminal program (or how you're trying to upload it).

Thanks I will. I've made many new screens the last day or so. Got a good flow going - and also had earlier art from 2020 that I started but never finished. I've focused mainly on last layer stuff. Though, I have used the same
tried and true routine for the last layer for years, I'll be using my bbs to help memorize the defined algorithms already published so I can move past the intro stuff.

Stuff is going swimmingly. I just need to figure out what my v1.0 will look like and do a feature freeze, otherwise I'll never launch my board.

Turns out with no color in the ads echo too. I even used the 'draw' option and tried some random objects with a red foreground and it is still black and white.
