No, it was full ansi. I'm just running a3 is why it came out without color.

That's not why, more less what Skuz and g00r00 mentioned and did not have the ANSi flag on for the base.

Ok, I turned on ANSI for the area, but I could not upload an ANSI into the editor. I would go through the process to upload an ansi, but no ansi file would get loaded into the editor. I tried it several times, and it just did not work.

Again, I'm only at a3 right now.

I've had the same thing happen to me several times. After using /Upload if I didn't type the exact filename.ext with (No typos) or wrong spelling. It would not upload into the FS editor. This happen with A1 A2 A3 A4 no matter what. Sometime to took me 4 or 5 tries before I got the exact filename.ext spelling correct.. hehe. If you double and triple check the upload file, it has always work for me no matter what version i'm using.

it looked great over here other than being monochrome... what was the problem you saw?

the biggest ugly i see with many ANSI messages is the screen clearing stuff that wipes out my reader's header and footer so the available options cannot
be seen... then others simply draw on half the screen after wiping out everything else... i hope that we might move up over here to 1.11asomething this weekend but that's not a SureThing<tm> yet :?

There hasn't been any change to the message upload code in many years. Make sure you are typing the file name correctly because it has to be exact casing etc.

He's using a version of Mystic that is probably 1.5 years old, so its not
going to work for him. But yes, Mystic reprocesses any ANSI you upload into the FS editor.

hahaha... it ain't been that long... it may feel like it, though O:)

tess' old 1.10alphasomething is only one or two ahead of this one and it is dated Feb 13 2015...

trying to find time to advance... will probably just drop 1.11 straight in and start all over again... that's probably easier than rooting through everything to find the theme strings and everything else that's new and needs to be added... i haven't heard from tess so i don't know what she wants to do but i don't think i'm going to try to work with her remake of my RA setup which
still needs more system and user variables to get all the details available...

Ahh, well 1.10 was out like 9 months ago and you were 7 or so alphas behind 1.10 so I just took a stab at it :)

there are many system and user variables (macros?) that are missing... things like the current area's number of messages, lowest message number, highest message number and similar... some of the same for the files areas...

i'll try to paste some examples...
