Digital Distortion BBS computer setup

This is the computer that this BBS runs on. It's a home-built PC with an Intel Core i5-2500 CPU (quad-core, 3.30ghz), 4GB RAM, and a 500GB hard drive. On the top of the stand, next to the monitor, mouse, and keyboard are my cable modem and my router, an Asus RT-N66U. This router provides gigabit wired Ethernet networking, dual-band wireless-N, and 2 USB ports for a network-attached printer and/or storage. This router really works great and is reliable, with very good wireless signal quality and strength. It also supports 3rd-party firmware (such as TomatoUSB and DD-WRT). Before buying this router, I had tried a couple different gigabit/wireless-N routers from Linksys but wasn't satisfied with their wireless signal. In the 100Mbit/wireless-G days, my favorite was the Linksys WRT54GL, but now I may be an Asus convert with their RT-N66U router.
